The annual Zebra Music Festival will stage on Jinshan’s City Beach
from July 19 to 21 this year.

Zebra Music Festival to craze fans

The annual Zebra Music Festival will stage on Jinshan’s City Beach from July 19 to 21 this year.

Visitors can not only enjoy the music carnival but also join more interactive activities this year, including outdoor karaoke, beach parties, hot Salsa dancing lessons and American beach football. Classical films are also available from 5pm to 9pm every day.

Pop singers and bands, such as Taiwan singer Elva Hsiao, Hong Kong singer Khalil Fong, domestic singer Ma Haisheng and Swedish band The Deer Tracks, will perform on three stages for revelers on the beach. Channel Young and a popular Chinese music website, Xiami.com, will relay the beach concerts to a larger audience during the festival.

The festival organizer will continue to cooperate with C Nature, a nongovernmental organization, to promote environment protection and energy saving.

How to get there

Visitors can take bullet trains from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jinshanwei Station in Jinshan District to enjoy the Zebra Music Festival on the City Beach from July 19 to 21.

A non-stop train takes only 30 minutes to reach the destination while a regular train needs about 60 minutes to cover the distance as it stops at each of the nine stations on route. The line has a maximum travel speed of 160 kilometers per hour.

The earliest trains leave Shanghai South Railway Station downtown and Jinshanwei Station in Jinshan at around 6am, and the latest train from Jinshanwei Station to downtown leaves at around 9:50pm.

For self-drivers, they can take G60, then transfer to G15 going from Shanghai toward Ningbo and take exit at Jinshan New Town. Or they can take S4 and take exit at Tingwei ramp to City Beach.
