Jinshan opens doors to global partnerships at CIIE

The Shanghai Bay Area CIIE Investment Promotion Conference was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center on November 8, extending a warm invitation to global investors and entrepreneurs to invest in Jinshan District.

During the conference, nine high-quality projects were signed, covering high-end equipment, new energy vehicles, modern agriculture, cultural tourism, and other key sectors. The total contracted value reached 2.89 billion yuan (US$405.90 million), with an estimated future total output value of 7.83 billion yuan.

Notable procurement agreements included a medical equipment order worth about US$180 million between Johnson & Johnson MedTech and Jointown Medical Equipment, as well as a US$200 million South American beef procurement agreement involving Frigorífico Alberdi, Youdingte, and Forres Beltran S.A.

In addition, the Jinshan Investment Promotion Office formed a strategic partnership with the Automotive Committee of the Shanghai Services Federation to jointly promote the establishment and development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry. Jiqing Technology signed an agreement with SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services to create a new model for low-carbon circular agriculture.

At the conference, Shanghai Kaijie E-Commerce Co Ltd, as a leading digital retail service provider in China, launched the Kaijie Digital Global Expansion Service Platform, one of Shanghai's first pilot platforms for digital export services, dedicated to empowering enterprises in achieving "business globalization and data repatriation."

The New Jinshan Development Company, the District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Commission, and the Legoland Shanghai Resort also delivered thematic presentations to seek investment focusing on high-end manufacturing, modern agriculture, and new formats in cultural tourism, respectively.
