The launch cermony for the fourth round of the "District-Academy Partnership" between the Jinshan District People’s Government and the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences was held on July 28 at the Jinshan District Conference Center.

The two parties jointly signed a new framework agreement for cooperation, pledging to work together to create a model for the development of modern urban agriculture in a megacity.

Since the launch of the first round of cooperation between Jinshan District and the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2011, the two parties have completed three rounds of practical collaboration, each lasting five years.

This has not only injected strong momentum into improving the quality and efficiency of agriculture in our district, but has also laid a solid foundation for a new round of high-level collaboration.

The two sides will continue to seek breakthroughs to tackle key technological challenges in the agricultural sector.

Two-way talent development mechanism will also be deepened as they will actively explore new pathways and models for the commercialization and promotion of scientific and technological achievements, thereby empowering the modernization of agriculture in Jinshan with cutting-edge scientific research capabilities.
