Direct shuttle service launches to connect downtown to Shanghai Legoland
2025-07-03

As Legoland Resort Shanghai prepares to welcome visitors on July 5, Spring Tour, in partnership with the theme park, is launching an exclusive direct shuttle service from People's Square, offering families and Lego fans a convenient transportation solution.

The officially licensed shuttle buses promise an immersive experience from the very beginning, featuring vibrant full-color Lego-themed exteriors. Adorned with iconic brick patterns, popular Lego characters, and the park's signature colors, these specially designed vehicles instantly transport passengers into the playful Lego universe the moment they board.

Conveniently located at 1 Pu'an Road near People's Square and Dashijie Station serving Metro Lines 8 and 14, the shuttle makes multiple stops including Hyatt Regency Songjiang, MiniMax Hotel Shanghai Songjiang, and New Century Grand Hotel Songjiang, effectively connecting downtown Shanghai with the suburban resort location.

For the return journey, shuttles will depart promptly after the park closes each day. Priced at 50 yuan (US$6.98) per person for round-trip service, the direct route eliminates the hassle of transfers compared to other transportation options. Operating daily from July 5, the shuttles will depart at 7:30am and return at 6:30pm, with bookings available through Spring Tour's app, physical stores, and Hou Baba Travel platform.

To further enhance accessibility, Shanghai's public transportation network is expanding with 12 new bus routes serving the Legoland area. This comprehensive upgrade includes four regular bus lines, two connecting routes, and five customized services, complementing the existing route to provide nearly complete coverage of the resort's surrounding areas, ensuring visitors have multiple convenient options to reach their destination.
