Shanghai’s beloved Jinshan Flat Peach Festival returns with a magical twist this year! From July 26 to October 8, visitors can not only savor Lvxiang’s sweet flat peaches but also immerse themselves in a breathtaking lantern festival at Lvxiang Fruit Park.
Inspired by ”Classic of Mountains and Seas” (Shan Hai Jing), this year’s festival transforms the park into an ethereal realm of ancient legends. A 1,000-meter-long luminous river recreates the mythical "Zhulong (Candle Dragon)’s Glow," while dazzling lantern displays bring legendary creatures like the Bifang bird and nine-tailed fox to life, reimagining the tale of "Divine Beasts at the Feast."
Stroll through gardens where dragon-shaped lanterns intertwine with peach vines, explore glowing corridors and hidden "mountain-and-sea" wonderlands, and enjoy live performances including “Journey to the West”-themed shows, traditional "da tie hua" iron-smelting fireworks, “huo hu” fire pot shows and vibrant parade floats.
